Man, if I could do stuff like this, none of ya’ll would hear from me again
Sooooo, I know I haven’t touched this blog ever since the semester started and I apologize for that. Really, I do. But, it’s the summer now! It’s FMP’s time!
While I haven’t been updating the blog, I have still been designing. My outside commission-based design work picked up quite a bit recently (and I’m not complaining). If you want to see want I’ve been working on, check out my online portfolio: www.behance.com/ashtonvaughn
Now, for the FMP news. I have been working on this upcoming batch for about two months now. I set out on a mission to make these new products reflect where I’m at as a designer and what the brand is about. That is why I decided to call the batch “Hello, Have We Met?”. It’s me reintroducing the Free Movement Projec to you all! So far, I have three tees, a new sticker, possibly a new button, and, a FMP first, a poster all planned for release this summer. I hope you like it!

Recently, I was hired to design the logo for a music production group by the name of THEBLKHANDS. They have a projec coming up that includes the likes of Big K.R.I.T., Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, Smoke DZA, and others. As for the logo, they wanted a pair of tribal-tatted hands in a prayer position. Because it is a logo, I tried to include enough detail while not overwhelming the design. I also used a track that was leaked as inspiration. This is the final product.
